So, it's been almost 10 years since I've posted anything here.
In my defense, I was desperately trying to figure out a way for a plus sized, disabled, asexual woman to be financially independent.
...I've failed, but not for lack of trying.
So now I'm unemployed, a financial burned on my family, and so riddled with medical issues, it honestly sounds like I'm lying if I explain them all. I may never work again.
I have no purpose.
So, I decided to art dump photographs I've taken and drawings I've done over the last decade out of a troubled desire to prove that I DID something, even if that something was a picture of a subway station wall.

So, um, yeah, I'm in Japan for a year.
I don't want to go home. ><
I haven't had time to draw in all this time and I realized, hey, I forgot how to draw. O.O
That's okay though. It's just something to do when people start going over things you learned during your first few days of Japanese class and it's either doodle in your notebook or stab you eyes out with the innards of your denshi jisho.
Also, I will be joining the manga club. I hope knowing any manga is not in fact a requirement. O.O I don't really read much manga (yes, besides that.) or watch much anime (yes, that again.) so I'm going to approach it more like a drawing club and h

After two years, it starts to bug you a little.
So what's new, what's new. Um, I'm back in school after a two year break where I worked and got the chance to escape to Japan for two weeks. Now I'm studying the language and literature up in Massachusetts. I've become increasingly antisocial but I'm working on that. I mostly spend my time studying but I'm still drawing randomly.
I'm taking 18 credits, doing archery club four times a week and doing study groups as well as the Japanese Tea Table project. I'm exhausted, but incredibly happy.
I should be preparing for my Japanese Culture Presentation, but I'm lazy. >>

Hi everyone. My name is Tom, and I'm a super fan of the Terry Goodkind "Sword of Truth" series. The books have definitely had an impact on how i look at life. I have been so inspired by the series, that I am going to have all of my books rebound in decorative leather cover, I also wish to insert some custom artwork.
I don't mean to ever sell this precious, precious rebound series. I just have a dream to make the physical presentation of the book, match the philosophical and idealogical beauty contained within its pages.
Unfortunately for me, I have what any art teacher would call 'stupid fingers'. Otherwise I would probably already be halfway through the comic reproduction of the entire first book. To realize my dream of having the highest quality version of this series ever, I have no choice but to beg the talent of other fans of this wonderful wonderful book series. I do plan to add a page of acknowledgments profusely thanking anyone who feels compelled to lend their skill.
